  • Free transfers to checking
  • Round-ups from debit purchases
  • Holiday club add-on at 1.00% APY

Certificates

Pick a term. Lock in a rate. Relax.

A certificate pays a fixed rate for a set time. It is a good home for money you will not need until later, like a house down payment or next year's vacation.

  • $500 to open, terms from 6 to 60 months
  • IRA certificates available
  • Rate stays the same until the term ends

Questions we hear a lot

Do not see yours? Visit the help center or call 513-555-0142.

How much does it cost to join?

Just $5. That money goes into your share savings account and makes you an owner. It is still your money, and you can see it any time.

Will you charge me if I overdraw?

Neighbor and Lantern Plus members can link savings for free overdraft protection. Fresh Start never charges overdraft fees. Otherwise, a sample fee of $20 applies once per day.

Can I use other ATMs for free?

Yes. Our members can use more than 30,000 shared-network ATMs without a surcharge. Look for the shared network sign, or use the finder in our app.

Is my money safe?

Yes. Deposits are federally insured by NCUA up to $250,000 per member, per account ownership category. That is the same level of protection you get at a bank.

Can I get paid early with direct deposit?

With Lantern Plus Checking, we post direct deposits as soon as we get them, which is often up to two days early.

What do I need to open an account?

A photo ID, your address, and $5 for your share savings. Our online application walks you through it.

Ready to make the switch?

We will help you move direct deposits and bill pay. Most members are done in one visit.
